About this file
This is a Special Terms and Conditions document for the Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County, Florida, related to a solicitation for disposal and recovery services of waste oil, oily water, antifreeze, petroleum contact water, and used filters from seven hazardous waste facilities. The solicitation seeks to establish a term contract with firm fixed pricing on an as-needed basis to support the Authority's operations. The document specifies that bidders must submit questions or clarification inquiries through the Bonfire platform by a deadline specified in the bid document, with the Authority providing responses through written addenda as needed. All solicitation responses must be submitted electronically through Bonfire, with bidders required to confirm their submission to ensure valid receipt. Bidders bear sole responsibility for ensuring timely submission by the specified date and time, and the Authority will not accept responses submitted through alternative means. Early submission is encouraged to avoid potential technical difficulties.
The document does not establish any small business enterprise (SBE) set-asides for this solicitation. Bidders experiencing technical difficulties with the Bonfire platform are instructed to immediately contact the Purchasing Agent (Bid Contact) and Bonfire's technical support team for assistance. The solicitation emphasizes that adherence to submission procedures and deadlines is critical, with all procedural guidance and requirements detailed in the bid documents and any issued addenda. Specific pricing terms, contract duration, renewal options, and other financial details are referenced within the broader solicitation package but are not detailed within this particular Special Terms and Conditions file.
