About this file
This document is a comprehensive project manual for a boiler replacement project at Jefferson County's Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport (RMMA) in Broomfield, Colorado. The project involves replacing the existing boiler, associated pumps, and equipment in the Airport Terminal Building, located at 11755 Airport Way. The project must be completed before October 1, 2025, as this boiler is the sole heating source for the building, with a potential extended deadline of June 1, 2026 if the initial timeline cannot be met. The project manual includes detailed technical specifications, installation requirements, and procurement guidelines spanning multiple divisions, including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and general construction provisions.
The project specifications indicate a permit set dated March 21, 2025, with comprehensive technical requirements for equipment installation, testing, and commissioning. The documentation includes specific requirements for materials, installation methods, quality assurance, submittal procedures, and performance standards. While specific budget details are not explicitly stated, the manual suggests a structured procurement process with detailed technical specifications that will help potential contractors understand the full scope of work. The project emphasizes compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards, with particular attention to seismic requirements, energy efficiency, and proper mechanical system installation.
