Q & A received in response to Solicitation

Q1: We have not done data centers before. Would this disqualify us from bidding?

A1: No sir, it does not disqualify you from bidding. However, it is an evaluation factor that your bid will be assessed on.

Q2: We would like to inquire about the Prior Experience needed to be able to bid on this opportunity; is it mandatory?

A2: Prior experience is not needed to bid on this opportunity; however, it is an evaluation factor that your bid will be assessed on.

Q3: Requirement states that an SF1449 is required, however, there is not an SF1449 attached to the solicitation.

A3: An SF1449 is a document the USCG utilizes to issue their award on. It will be sent for signature to the awarded firm.

Q4: When can we invoice for the requirement? After the 90 days?

A4: The awarded firm can invoice after the completion of services. If that happens to be prior to the end of the 90 days, that's fine, it is at the completion and receipt of services rendered.

Q5: Was the site visit and seeing the facility a "requirement" to bid on this contract?

A5: No sir, attending the site visit was NOT a requirement to bid on this solicitation.

Q6: Are there are pictures or drawings that could be shared?

A6: Currently, we are unable to post any pictures or drawings of the facilities due to security concerns. A site visit was offered for this requirement on 28 February 2024.

Q7: Does the work have to be completed right away?

A7: All work is to be completed within the 90-day period of performance for all locations. Depending on when you set-up the cleaning with the site POCs determines when exactly those cleanings will take place within that

90-day period.

Q8: Does the Government prefer we set-up our proposal based on site or total the work altogether?

A8: Company preference.

Q9: How should the proposal be submitted?

A9: Proposals should be submitted via email.

Q10: Prior experience is wanted on the proposal if available, correct?

Q10: While it is not required, you may provide your firm's prior experience asserting your capabilities.

Q11: Overall is there any information on the condition of the centers? On a scale of 1 - 5, 1 being clean, 5 being very dirty.

A11: Unfortunately, this question is subjective, and we are unable to answer it. The facilities are maintained with routine cleanings; however, this cleaning is a more in-depth one-time service per facility.
