This is considered a commercial services contract in accordance with the Service Contract Labor Standards. Bid bonds, payment bonds, and performance bonds are not required.

May the prime contractor team with a subcontractor that possesses a valid Alaska General Contractor or Electrical Contractor License?

The entity actually performing the onsite effort must possess a valid Alaska General Contractor or Electrical Contractor License.

What is the period of performance? How quickly does the the Government request the job to be completed? Performance shall be completed within 90 days after a notice to proceed has been issued.

Would it be acceptable for the required “Evidence of a valid Alaska General Contractor License” to be satisfied by our local subcontractor

Does the boiler scope include replacing the "Trim" components which would include: expansion tank, zone valves, pumps, PRV/BFP, air remover?

The first Paragragh of the SOW submitted is "The intent of this Statement of Work (SOW) is to have the contractor demolish and remove all required components of the existing boiler system, including associated piping, valves, fittings, and controls, to facilitate the installation of a new boiler system at the Sector Field Office Valdez Housing located at 1680 Broadway Ct., Valdez, Alaska, 99686"

7 How would you like me to submit the proposal ? Please submit your quote in accordance with the instructions contained in the solicitation.

Are you able to submit more pictures within the boiler room that show different angles of the full system? We'd like to get more close up pictures of the boiler piping that show (pumps, zone valves, etc.) and the vent piping on top of the boiler as well. This will help us better determine our scope of work and a more accurate estimate. See attached file.

We kindly request clearer and more detailed pictures of the existing boilers, specifically of piping and connections, exhaust system, oil line, electrical wiring, and any surrounding components that may impact installation or removal. See attached file.
