About this file

This document is a comprehensive Request for Proposal (RFP) Response submitted by an electronic payment processing provider to Denver Water in Colorado for an electronic payment processing solution. Denver Water is seeking a comprehensive electronic payment processing platform capable of handling multiple payment channels including ACH, credit cards, debit cards, and cash payments at retail stores, with the primary goal of enhancing customer experience and reducing contact center calls. The proposed solution must include a self-service platform with robust integration capabilities, specifically requiring compatibility with Oracle JD Edwards Enterprise One and Oracle Customer Care and Billing systems, and offering features like customer self-service portals, pay-by-phone options, and electronic billing presentment.

The proposal response details extensive technical requirements, including security compliance (SSAE 16, SOC 2 Type 2, PCI compliance), platform capabilities, integration options, mobile services, and comprehensive reporting functionalities. The proposer must demonstrate capabilities in areas such as role-based access control, browser compatibility, customization options, high-availability architecture, API integration, and robust customer support channels. The solution is expected to provide flexible payment options, fraud prevention measures, multi-channel payment acceptance, and sophisticated notification and alert systems. While specific pricing details are not fully disclosed in this document, the RFP indicates that pricing structures and rates will be submitted in separate exhibits, and the proposer must also complete a supplier diversity survey as part of Denver Water's commitment to supporting small, minority, and women-owned businesses.
