About this file

This document contains Q&A notes from an Army industry day for a military vehicle contract, specifically related to the Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicle (AMPV) and its medical variants. Key details include clarifications about the procurement process, such as past performance citation requirements, Field Service Representative (FSR) expectations, and technical data availability. The Army indicated that FSRs will be required to cover all PM MAV platforms, technical data will be attached to the RFP, and there is currently no phase-in period for the contract. The document also notes that approximately 1,200 M113 vehicles will remain in the Army formation, and the AMPV is not a direct 1-to-1 replacement. The slides from the industry day will be released on SAM.GOV, and the government will not disclose the list of competitors who attended the event. Material/part/component procurement may be required, with specific details to be outlined in the scope and work directives.
