About this file

This is an RFP issued by Salt Lake Community College (SLCC), Utah's largest open-enrollment institution serving over 60,000 students annually across 8 campuses, in conjunction with the Utah System of Higher Education (USHE). The procurement seeks an enterprise, institution-wide data platform that will serve as the College's centralized foundation for institutional effectiveness, analytics, reporting, and data-informed decision-making. The platform must integrate institutional data across academic, student, enrollment, finance, human resources, and institutional effectiveness domains while expanding access to trusted, actionable reporting and insights. Specifically, this RFP requires a higher-education-focused enterprise data platform consisting of a data warehouse or lakehouse with governed analytics capabilities; standalone reporting, visualization, or operational case-management tools will not satisfy the requirement. The contract is anticipated to result in a single award to the responsive and responsible vendor with the highest score, with an initial term of three years and annual payments. The contract will be renewed on an annual basis, subject to available funding and satisfactory performance, for the duration of the three-year term.

In addition to SLCC, other USHE member institutions—including Utah Valley University, Utah State University, Weber State University, University of Utah, Snow College, Southern Utah University, Utah Tech University, and eight technical colleges—may have the option to purchase off the resulting contract by either signing a Participating Addendum or entering into a separate direct contract with the awarded vendor, though each institution retains the discretion to decline participation following review of the awarded proposal and contract terms.
