About this file
This document is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey for the RFQS – 6000001282 Master Agreements for General Construction Services on a Work Order Basis for the AirTrain Newark Replacement Project. The document contains four specific questions and answers related to the request for qualifications, dated January 27, 2023. The RFI addresses eligibility, contractual clarifications, safety record submissions, and the definition of affiliates for potential bidders.
The RFI clarifies that local non-MWBE (Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprise) contractors are eligible to apply. Bidders are instructed to submit 3 years of OSHA 300 logs as part of their safety record documentation, with the understanding that the Authority may request additional information after initial review. An affiliate is defined as a subsidiary group or a person connected to an organization, which is relevant for safety record and contractor past performance submissions. Potential contractors are directed to refer to Addendum #1 for further details on specific qualification statement requirements.
