About this file
This is an Acceptance Testing Checklist attachment for a Student Information System (SIS) RFP issued by Davis Technical College in Utah. The checklist outlines the comprehensive validation requirements that the proposed SIS solution must demonstrate prior to final acceptance and commissioning. The testing encompasses multiple functional areas including core system operations, student experience features, scheduling and academic model capabilities, academic records management, financial operations, financial aid processing, and reporting and compliance functions. The solution must successfully validate user authentication, role-based security, student and staff account provisioning, data migration, system integrations, student portal functionality, self-service scheduling, and mobile access. Critical to Davis Technical College's unique operational model, the system must support the institution's open-entry, course-based scheduling structure that allows individualized student pacing, variable course start and end dates, multiple students in the same instructional space while enrolled in different courses, and dynamic completion date calculations.
The acceptance testing requirements extend to enrollment and withdrawal processing, transcript generation, attendance tracking, student billing and payment processing, sponsorship management, refund handling, accounts receivable functionality, financial aid packaging and disbursement, SAP and R2T4 processing, standard and ad hoc reporting capabilities, audit logging, and security compliance validation. The checklist also mandates completion of administrator and end-user training, delivery of comprehensive documentation and user guides, review and acceptance of support procedures, and resolution of all critical defects prior to production commissioning. Final acceptance requires successful completion of all testing scenarios, delivery of agreed-upon functionality, and formal College approval for production use and system commissioning.
