About this file
This is a Bid Bond document for the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, related to Invitation To Bid (ITB) 237352 for Job 061776, the Little Rock Kanis Park Loop (TAP-22) project. The bid bond serves as a financial security instrument required from bidders submitting proposals for this municipal construction or improvement project. The bond is executed by the principal (bidder) and surety and establishes a contractual obligation contingent upon the principal's bid acceptance and subsequent contract execution. The bond becomes void if the bid is rejected or if the principal executes the required contract, furnishes a performance bond, and fulfills all obligations arising from bid acceptance.
The bid bond is pegged at five percent (5%) of the bid amount as the penal sum, representing the maximum liability of the surety for any claims under the bond. The bond obligates the principal to execute the contract in the form provided by the City of Little Rock and deliver the required performance bond for faithful performance and payment of all labor and materials. The surety waives notice of any extension of time within which the Owner may accept the bid and agrees that its obligations shall not be impaired by such extensions. This bond document requires execution by both the principal and surety with proper corporate seals and signatures of authorized officers, with the agreement dated in 2026.
