About this file

This is a Pricing Schedule (Attachment C) for IFB 2000004270, a term contract for Bus Shelter Maintenance services established by Fairfax County, Virginia. The solicitation encompasses twenty line items covering a comprehensive range of maintenance, repair, and installation services for county-owned bus shelters and bus stops. Services include structural components (acrylic and glass panels, frames), routine maintenance (debris removal, power washing, vegetation control), specialized cleaning (roof cleaning, animal/human waste removal), painting, inspection, emergency response services, and shelter installation and assembly. Quantities vary by service type, ranging from 5 to 600 units of measure across different line items, with emergency services designated separately to accommodate urgent County requests.

All pricing shall remain firm for the contract term unless otherwise specified in the IFB, with unit prices required to be inclusive of all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, materials, transportation, disposal, overhead, and profit. Two line items (Bus Shelter Panel – Glass and Bus Shelter Purchases) utilize percentage markup structures applied to documented actual costs from manufacturers or suppliers, excluding sales tax. Emergency services pricing applies only when the County designates work as emergency and adheres to specified response times. Hourly rate billing for vegetation control and miscellaneous repairs is calculated in one-hour increments unless County authorization permits otherwise. The County does not guarantee minimum or maximum quantities, and all work requires advance written purchase order authorization. Contractors are prohibited from duplicate billing across multiple line items for identical work activities, with the County determining appropriate line item classification when scopes overlap.
