About this file

This document is an Attachment No. 7 Financial Interests and Potential Conflicts of Interests form from the Houston Community College (HCC) Office of Systemwide Compliance, designed to comply with Texas Local Government Code Chapter 176. The form is required for vendors seeking to enter contracts with HCC valued over $50,000 and mandates detailed disclosure of financial interests, potential conflicts of interest, current and pending government contracts, and other procurement-related information.

The form requires vendors to comprehensively disclose any financial interests of HCC employees or their family members in the vendor's company, including ownership percentages, income shares, and real property interests. Vendors must also report potential conflicts such as employment relationships with HCC, gifts received valued at $250 or more, and any current or pending contracts with other Texas government agencies. The document emphasizes that failure to complete and return the form may result in the vendor's bid or proposal being considered non-responsive, and vendors are obligated to update the disclosure within seven days of any significant changes in financial interests.
