About this file

This is an accessibility compliance appendix to a Request for Qualifications issued by the University of Texas at Austin for an Operational Readiness project. The document establishes the contractor's obligations regarding electronic and information resources (EIRs) accessibility standards under Texas state regulations.

The contractor must warrant that all electronic and information resources, associated documentation, and support provided to the University comply with applicable requirements in 1 TAC Chapter 213 and 1 TAC 206.70 as referenced in Texas Government Code Subchapter M, Chapter 2054. Should the contractor become aware that the EIRs or any portion thereof do not comply with the accessibility warranty, the contractor must, at no cost to the University, either remediate the EIRs to satisfy the warranty or replace them with new compliant EIRs. If the contractor fails or is unable to perform either remedy, the University may terminate the Agreement and the contractor must refund all amounts paid by the University within thirty days of termination. Additionally, the contractor must provide full assistance and cooperation necessary for accessibility testing, planning, and execution criteria conducted by the University or its third-party testing resources as required by applicable regulations.
