About this file

This is a Supplementary General Conditions document for RFP 3202600039, a backup generator installation project for the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) at the Criss Cole Rehabilitation Center located at 4800 North Lamar Boulevard in Austin, Texas. The document establishes contractual requirements and insurance obligations that contractors must meet throughout the contract term.

The supplementary conditions require contractors to obtain and maintain umbrella liability insurance coverage equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total awarded contract sum, including any selected alternate pricing amounts. This umbrella policy must provide coverage as broad as and apply in excess of primary liability coverages, with "drop down" coverage provisions to address situations where underlying primary insurance limits are insufficient or exhausted. Additionally, the contract specifies liquidated damages of one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) per day, establishing financial consequences for contractor performance failures or delays.
