About this file
This is an evaluation criteria document for Boulder County, Colorado's fencing installation and repair services solicitation. Boulder County Parks and Open Space Department (BCPOS) is seeking to establish a pre-qualified list of contractors to provide fencing installation and repair services on Boulder County Open Space lands across both plains and mountain terrains. The work will be engaged on a project-by-project basis as needed, with no specific quantities, timelines, or contract term details provided in this evaluation criteria document.
The selection committee will evaluate proposals using a 100-point scoring matrix that prioritizes qualifications and relevant experience with similar fence projects (25 points) and overall value to the county, including cost-effectiveness and long-term durability (25 points). Quality of proposed materials and construction methods receives 20 points, as does project schedule, staffing, and ability to complete work timely (20 points), while proposal completeness, responsiveness, and compliance with specifications receives 10 points. The committee may request additional information from vendors or conduct interviews before making final selections. Contractors interested in participating should contact procurement@bouldercounty.gov for questions regarding the procurement process and should review Boulder County's submittal instructions and Americans with Disabilities Act and Equal Opportunity notices.
