Bidders must have a minimum of five years of experience and provide pricing for maintenance labor on an hourly basis, with parts and markup costs calculated separately from the hourly rate. All pricing must be guaranteed for one year, with any subsequent price adjustments requiring documented justification and approval from the JSD Purchasing Director. Mileage and fuel surcharges must be included in the hourly maintenance rate. Routine repair costs exceeding $1,000 require prior written approval from JSD, while repairs exceeding 50 percent of equipment value require authorization from the Facility Services Department. Bidders must indicate their ability to service and perform warranty work for each brand of exercise equipment listed. The contract includes standard JSD terms and conditions, comprehensive liability insurance requirements, and tax exemption provisions applicable to school district purchases.
