About this file
This Request for Information (RFI) is issued by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) via the General Services Administration (GSA) to conduct market research for various Industrial Plant Equipment (IPE) for delivery to multiple CONUS and OCONUS locations. The RFI seeks to identify interested and qualified contractors for equipment including 13 Pipe Bending Machines, 9 Flaring and Beading units, 9 Engine Lathes, and multiple Sheet Metal Working (waterjet) machines across different specifications, with quantities ranging from 1-12 units per type.
The RFI requests potential vendors submit a five-page response including company information, GSA contract details, capabilities, previous experience, and potential teaming arrangements. Respondents are asked to answer 12 detailed questions covering topics such as quote preparation needs, contract type preferences, production capacity, and potential subcontracting plans. The government contemplates using NAICS codes 333517 (Machine Tool Manufacturing) and 332322 (Sheet Metal Work Manufacturing), and encourages contractors to form Contracting Team Arrangements. Responses are due on or before July 31, 2025, at 5:00 PM EST, with the primary point of contact being Daniel Herrera at daniel.herrera@gsa.gov.
