About this file
This document outlines the water testing and wastewater treatment services requirements for fourteen Bureau of Land Management sites in Northwest Oregon. Under Task 1, the contractor shall operate and maintain the wastewater treatment system at Shotgun Creek Recreation Site, including the influent wet well, pumping stations, aerobic clarifier lagoon, effluent pumping, chlorine contact chamber, and land application of recycled wastewater via spray irrigation. The system receives waste from the recreation site, a residence, and an administration building. Operation and maintenance must ensure continuous compliance with the Water Pollution Control Facilities Permit and adhere to EPA, ODEQ, and permit standards. Under Task 2, the contractor shall regularly collect samples and test potable water at the fourteen BLM sites for compliance with OHA and ODEQ requirements. Testing includes monthly and annual sampling for bacteria, nitrates, arsenic, lead, copper, and other contaminants according to the schedules provided. The quote due date is September 7, 2021 by 9:00am Pacific Time and shall be submitted to the Contracting Officer via email.
