1. Is there a potential for a site survey/visit to fully understand the scope of the work to be accomplished.

A. Site visit will be held February 14th 9:00 am PST. Any interested parties fill out sign up sheet and return to charles.enoch@gsa.gov. By February 12th, 2024, 5pm PST.

2. “1.3.1.1.1. Submission of bonds and/or insurance documents within “ten” (10) days of contract award. The acceptance of the Bonds and Insurance will set the Post

Award Meeting date (see Section 6).” We would like to know whether bonding is indeed required for this solicitation if you could kindly shed some light on this matter.

B. Insurance will be required. Check section D of the solicitation for further detail.

3. Is there is a list consisting of the current bidders for this project?

C. There is not list consisting of current bidders.

4. Can the Government provide the current manufacturer and version of the current vehicle ground sensor system that is in place?

D. Information is not known. A site visit will be provided to interested parties to take a look at current system.

5. Can the Government provide the current manufacturer of any existing access control systems that are in place?

F. For the current VSS equipment, the Digital Disk Recorder that does the camera sequencing/recording is a Panasonic WJ-HD300; I believe the Administrator Console is the Panasonic WJ-SX150A; the cameras are a Panasonic WV-CS574.

6. Is In addition to the gates, ground sensors, and potential access control system, are there any other systems that are potentially expected to be integrated into the Video

Surveillance System (VSS) and monitoring stations.

G. NARA does not anticipate integration of any existing VSS equipment with a new system unless existing cabling can be used.

7. Is The floor plans do not denote any existing pedestals for Card reader boxes for the vehicle gates. Are pedestals for the card reader boxes an expectation of the government?

H. NARA requires that card reader pedestals remain to accommodate the card reader boxes for gate entry. These are located directly outside each gate access on the street-side of the complex grounds.
