Questions & Responses
RFP # 47PK0219R0002
1. The solicitation included the document: “PUBLIC BUILDINGS MAINTENANCE STANDARDS FINAL”. In this, it includes on pages 512-516 both water treatment with chemical as well as “chemical free”. Can you please clarify if there is “chemical free” systems employed on these buildings?
The buildings use chemical water treatment processes. The PUBLIC BUILDINGS MAINTENANCE STANDARDS FINAL is the complete list of all GSA PM Guides. Not all guides apply to all buildings.
2. The FBO post for solicitation 47PK0219R0002 has a posting titled Solicitation and another titled Solicitation_1. Both solicitation postings include files titled 47PK0219R0002__Form1449.pdf and SpringStDEAOMSOW-Sol.pdf. At initial glance, there seems to be no difference between the 47PK0219R0002__Form1449.pdf file posted in Solicitation and the one posted in Solicitation_1; ditto for file SpringStDEAOMSOW-Sol.pdf. Please confirm there is no difference between these identically named files in Solicitation and Solicitation_1.
The file is a duplicate.
3. Section C.VI.c, page 18 of 246, appears to either have additional or missing word(s): “Use Provide salvage, reuse and recycling services for waste generated from building operations, maintenance, and repair and discarded equipment.” Please clarify meaning.

5. Section C.4, page 30 of 246, states, in part, “The Contractor shall be allowed to perform and submit an existing deficiency list (EDL) inspection and submit a report within 30 days after the beginning of the contract period [emphasis added].” Yet C.44, page 72 of 246, states the Existing Deficiency Inspection Report is due 30 days after contract award. Please clarify.
Section revised. C.44 changed to after beginning of the contract period.

Section C.5.1 is reserved, although C.5.3 states “The Contractor shall provide no more than 30 days of transition startup services prior to the Contract start date…” Section J.2, on page 129 of 246, references Section C.5.1 and states that the “Startup/Transition phase including staffing plan Complete CMMS training” is due “Within 60 days of the startup phase.” Please clarify.
Section revised. C.5.1 removed start up and left transition. Removed Reserved. Exhibit J2 changed to 30 days from 60.
8. Section C.6.d (page 32 of 246) states, in part, “On the last performance day of the Contract, the Contractor shall turn over to the CO or their designee all keys and identification badges or cards.”
Section J.2, page 129 of 246, references C.6 for “Phase out Transition” states “60 prior to the last performance day of the Contract, Contractor must turn over keys and identification badges or cards.”
