RE: Solicitation 47PG0118R0016
Building Operations and Maintenance Services Charles Evans Whittaker U.S Courthouse 400 E. 9th Street Kansas City, Missouri
The General Services Administration, Public Buildings Service, in the Heartland Region
(Region 6) is currently conducting market research to determine the benefits, if any, of extending the term of Building Operations and Maintenance Services contracts from five (5) years to ten
(10) years. We need your assistance in obtaining current market data to determine if this change would be beneficial to the Government.
This information is to be used for market research only, and will not be used to award a ten
(10) year contract under this solicitation.
In the following pages you will find a set of simulated line items, comparable to those found in Section B of this solicitation. These simulated line items cover a period of ten (10) years. Our request is for you to fill out the simulated Section B based on the scope of work found in this solicitation (Section C).
As stated on the first page of the solicitation, this request for information is purely voluntary and will not impact the technical reviews identified in Section M. Participating in this request for information, or not participating, will in no way impact the Government’s award decision.
That being said, this request for information is an excellent opportunity for market participants to provide information to the Government which may change the way we procure these types of contracts in the future. We sincerely hope you choose to participate.
Respectfully, Cole White Contract Specialist GSA, PBS, Services Acquisition Branch (6P1QC) Email: cole.white@gsa.gov Mobile: (816) 278-8151
