Will there be a designated area in garage for tools and material?

GSA expects at least half of the back wall will be cleared of cars for work but will clear all parking spots at once if possible. The cleared area of work along the back wall will be used to work and store materials. The area in front of the E. 6th St. backflow is a no parking zone for storage.

The cleared area of work will contain space for tool trucks.

Individuals operating a vehicle in the garage will have to pass a background check and get a badge.

Existing subcontract for operations is Hatzel and Buehler. Subs that have been used are Hatzel and Buehler, Fire Tec, SA Comunale.

Programming work is proprietary and done by Simplex/JCI.

The general contractor is responsible for the planning, coordination, and implementation of any and all plans, permits, road & sidewalk closures, etc. as required by the city to maintain access and operation during construction. Access to the building must be maintained throughout construction. Proper signage and barriers must be installed to ensure continued access and safety of pedestrian and vehicle traffic in the area.

The period of performance starts at award. Time extensions will be a contract modification and will be considered on a case-by-case basis pending technical justification.

12 11/18/24 Drawings C004 & C005

Drawing C004 does not have the drain line crossed out (to be removed)? Please clarify that this section of drain line is to be replaced? (Drawing attached)

The intent for that being shown on the demolition plan is to show the limits of sawcut for when the 6” drain line (shown on sheet C005) is installed. There will be no drains removed, just trenching.
