About this file

This is a Certification Regarding Lobbying form issued by the Nevada State Purchasing Division, Department of Administration, applicable to a formal RFP for Building System Controls Services on behalf of the Office of the Military. The document serves as a certification requirement for vendors participating in this state and local contract opportunity in Nevada. The form requires authorized signers to certify compliance with federal lobbying restrictions and disclosure requirements under Section 1352 of the U.S. Code. Vendors must complete the certification with the solicitation number, vendor name, authorized signer name, and signature before submitting a bid or proposal for this opportunity.

The certification mandates that no federal appropriated funds have been or shall be paid to influence federal agency officials, Members of Congress, or congressional employees in connection with the contract award. If non-federal funds have been used for lobbying activities, vendors must submit Standard Form-LLL, Disclosure of Lobbying Activities. Vendors are required to include identical certification language in all subcontracts and sub awards at all tiers and ensure all sub recipients certify and disclose accordingly. Failure to file the required certification subjects the responsible party to civil penalties ranging from $10,000 to $100,000 for each violation. This certification constitutes a material representation of fact and is a prerequisite for contract execution.
