About this file

This Scope of Work document is for the Sierra Regional Center, located in Sparks, Nevada, detailing a flooring replacement project for Building 8N at 480 Galletti Way. The project involves replacing flooring in specific orange and yellow highlighted sections of the building's floor plan, with work to be completed by June 30, 2025. The flooring replacement includes installing hard tile in yellow-marked areas to match existing white section tiles, and carpet tile in orange-marked areas with color to be determined by the Sierra Regional Center. The vendor will be responsible for floor preparation, removing existing flooring, installing new tile and carpet, replacing baseboards and thresholds, and ensuring smooth transitions between different flooring types.

Work will be performed Monday through Friday, with start and end times coordinated with the Facility Supervisor. The vendor's responsibilities include daily communication with maintenance staff, keeping work areas clean, removing debris, and conducting a final inspection to ensure staff satisfaction. Invoicing for payment should be submitted to two specific email addresses: amanocha@adsd.nv.gov and ihyman@dcfs.nv.gov. The project requires close collaboration with the Sierra Regional Center's maintenance personnel, who will handle furniture moving and final flooring color selection during a walk-through.
