About this file

This document is an Invitation to Bid (ITB) issued by the State of New Mexico General Services Department Purchasing Division for Vehicle Servicing and Maintenance. The ITB seeks competitive bids from qualified bidders to establish a Statewide Price Agreement for performing preventive maintenance, mechanical, body and paint repairs, parts procurement, component/attachment repairs, materials and labor for various types of vehicles and equipment. The term of the price agreement is one year with the option to extend for three additional one-year terms. Bids are due no later than July 9, 2024 at 2:00 pm, with a formal sealed bid opening to occur immediately following.

The ITB provides details on pricing, including an escalation/reduction clause that allows for annual price adjustments, and requirements for itemized invoices and labor charges. It also covers provisions for towing, car washes, and approval of repairs over $500. Bidders must provide a catalog with their bid and meet inventory requirements to service the agencies' needs. The award will be made to multiple vendors to facilitate maintenance for the largest number of vehicle and equipment types across the state.
