About this file

This is a vendor onboarding notice from Marion County, Florida, regarding the PaymentWorks registration system for managing vendor payments and business information. The notice informs vendors that Marion County uses PaymentWorks, a secure vendor portal, as its official onboarding platform and that vendors may receive legitimate invitation emails from this system. The notice applies to all vendors conducting business with Marion County, whether new or existing. New vendors are required to register through PaymentWorks to establish their vendor records and receive payments, while existing vendors who have previously done business with Marion County may continue operations without immediate registration; however, any updates to company information such as address, email, banking details, or other business particulars must be completed through the PaymentWorks system to ensure current records are maintained.

The PaymentWorks platform enables vendors to securely provide and manage business and banking information while reducing errors and duplicate records, with the ability to update information at any time. During registration, vendors can select their preferred payment method, choosing between ACH (direct deposit), which is faster and more secure, or traditional check payments. Marion County strongly encourages registration to avoid potential payment delays, and vendors with questions regarding the registration process can contact PaymentWorks Support through their help portal or reach out directly to Marion County Procurement at Procurement@MarionFL.org. This onboarding process supports the County's administration of various services, including the Workers' Compensation Third-Party Administration Services contract referenced in the related solicitation.
