Cost Submittal for UDOT Region 2 Temporary Traffic Control

This document is a cost submittal spreadsheet for the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) Region 2 Temporary Traffic Control services contract (Solicitation #UDOT260175CN). The solicitation seeks a contractor to provide temporary traffic control services across multiple counties in Utah's Region 2, with the potential for a five-year contract term. The cost sheet itemizes twelve base contracted services including mobilization for Salt Lake County, Summit County, Tooele County East, and Tooele County West; traffic control maintainer hours; traffic plan design hours; construction signs; plastic barrels; Type II and Type III barricades; advance warning arrow stationary equipment; and changeable message boards. Estimated quantities for base items range from 20 to 65,000 units depending on the line item, with mobilization lump sums and hourly or daily rates for services and equipment.

The cost submittal also includes eight non-binding pricing items submitted "for contractual purposes only," which are subject to UDOT's price reasonableness review, including truck-mounted impact attenuators, light plants, speed monitoring devices, flagging services, water-filled barriers, portable traffic signals, trench plates, and temporary portable rumble strips. Bidders must enter pricing only in designated blue fields, with totals automatically calculated for the base bid comprised of Items 1 through 12. Award will be issued to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder based on the total base bid amount calculated from Table 1, with actual payment made based on actual quantities and work performed at the stipulated unit prices. The State reserves the right to increase or decrease actual quantities as required during contract performance.
