Unless exempt under Section 2252.908(c) of the Texas Government Code, the selected contractor is required to use the Texas Ethics Commission's electronic filing system to complete the current version of the Certificate of Interested Parties form and submit it to both the Texas Ethics Commission and the University concurrently with the signed Agreement.
The Certificate of Interested Parties form serves as a disclosure document regarding parties with financial interests in the contract. Contractors must access the form through the Texas Ethics Commission's official web portal and ensure compliance with all applicable state ethics requirements prior to contract execution. This disclosure is a mandatory component of the contracting process for the University of Texas at Austin and failure to comply with these requirements may result in bid rejection or contract termination.
