About this file
This is an attachment to a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the University of Texas at Austin for Commencement Staging & Labor Services (RFP 721-26056). The attachment outlines accessibility requirements and warranties that contractors must comply with when providing electronic and information resources (EIRs) under the agreement. The University requires all EIRs, associated information, documentation, and support materials to meet applicable accessibility standards under 1 TAC Chapter 213 and 1 TAC 206.70, which align with Texas Government Code Subchapter M, Chapter 2054. Contractors must warrant full compliance with these standards and provide all necessary assistance for accessibility testing, planning, and documentation as required by 1 TAC 213.38(g).
Should a contractor become aware that provided EIRs do not comply with accessibility requirements, the contractor must remediate all deficiencies at no cost to the University or replace the noncompliant EIRs with compliant alternatives. If the contractor fails or is unable to cure accessibility deficiencies, the University may terminate the agreement and require full refund of all payments within thirty days of termination. This attachment establishes binding accessibility standards and performance obligations as conditions of contract performance with the University of Texas at Austin.
