About this file
This is an attachment to a Request for Information (RFI) issued by Jordan School District in Utah for Windows Device Management solutions. The document, titled "Attachment A - Vendor Differentiating Capabilities," serves as a submission template for vendors responding to RFI #26TH07RFI. Vendors are required to submit this one-page maximum attachment as part of their RFI response, explaining why their solution stands out in the marketplace and should be considered for further evaluation. The RFI is issued in accordance with the State of Utah Procurement Code and applicable administrative rules. This is an information-gathering exercise only and does not constitute a solicitation for quotations, bids, or proposals; it cannot be used to enter into a contract or make a purchase.
The attachment provides specific guidance for vendor responses, directing vendors to focus on genuine differentiating strengths rather than generic marketing language or feature lists. Vendors should explain what their platform does particularly well compared to competitors, where their approach differs meaningfully in architecture, philosophy, or operational model, and why those differences matter in a large-scale Windows environment like the one Jordan School District operates. The evaluation team prioritizes responses that are thoughtful, specific, and grounded in operational reality, identifying a small number of genuinely differentiating strengths with clear explanations of their value. No pricing information, set-asides, contract terms, or other financial details are included in this attachment document.

Attachment A
Vendor Differentiating Capabilities
(This document to be submitted with RFI response.)
Please read all instructions below to ensure all required documentation is submitted with your response. Responses are limited to one (1) page maximum.
This section is the vendor’s opportunity to clearly and concisely explain why your solution stands out and why it should be seriously considered for further evaluation.
This is not a requirement to cover every feature. It is an opportunity to make a compelling technical case for your solution in a way that is easy to digest for evaluators.
The evaluation team is not looking for generic marketing language or restated feature lists.
Instead, use this section to help us understand:
• What your platform does particularly well compared to others in the market.
• Where your approach is meaningfully different (architecture, philosophy, operational model).
• Why those differences matter in a real-world, large-scale Windows environment like the one described in this RFI.
Strong responses will:
• Focus on a small number of genuinely differentiating strengths.
• Explain why those strengths are valuable, not just that they exist.
• Use clear, plain language that is easy to read and understand.
Responses that are thoughtful, specific, and grounded in operational reality will be more impactful than broad or overly polished marketing statements.
