About this file
This is Amendment No. 02 to Request for Proposal (RFP) No. 382968 issued by Fermi Forward Discovery Group, LLC for the CUB Boiler 1 PC Replacement project. The amendment extends the proposal submission deadline from 3:00 PM CT on September 25, 2026, to 3:00 PM CT on October 2, 2026. A pre-proposal meeting and site visit has been scheduled for 9:30 AM CT on Monday, September 28, 2026, at the Access and Badging Center located at Kirk Road and Pine Street at Fermilab in Batavia, Illinois. Participants should meet Dasia Guthrie, the Subcontract Administrator, and are encouraged to submit questions in advance to allow preparation of responses.
Individuals attending the site visit must complete a Fermilab Access Request Form no later than Sunday, September 27, 2026, and should preferably be U.S. citizens, as onsite access approvals depend on citizenship status and locations being visited. Upon approval, attendees will receive an informal invitation letter with a QR code for presentation at the security gate. At check-in, visitors must present a valid REAL ID-compliant Driver's License, the invitation letter with QR code, and a Visitor and Business Visitor Attestation Form. The site has strict entry restrictions prohibiting weapons, firearms, ammunition, explosives, and hazardous materials. COVID-19 precautions requiring masks may apply depending on community levels. All other terms and conditions of the original RFP remain unchanged.
