Amendment to a Previous Combined Solicitation

Combined Synopsis Solicitation is hereby amended as follows:

1) Change classification:

FROM: Original Set Aside: Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Sole Source (FAR 19.14) TO: Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside (FAR 19.14)

2) Provide answers to questions submitted by interested parties,

3) Incorporate Attachment A - Addendum to FAR 52.212-4, and

4) Incorporate Attachment B - List of Deliverables.

Question 1.

Can a copy of the “List of Deliverables” section that applies to the Solicitation 36L79723Q0009 be provided for review and incorporation into the formal solicitation response?

Answer 1.

Refer to Attachment B, List of Deliverables.

Question 2.

There is no trench currently installed at VAMC Fayetteville and the drain piping for the washer/extractors is through floor piping. Please validate that since there is no trench present onsite it is acceptable to exclude the above referenced diamond plate from the project requirements.

Answer 2.

Technical Specification subsection #25 on page 4 has been removed in its entirety.

Question 3.

Typically, an Uninterrupted Power Supply is not required for washer extractors and gas heated tumblers. The inclusion of this requirement could significantly increase cost and scope of the project and provide limited operational benefit. Please validate if in this instance an Uninterrupted Power Supply is only a requirement for the Washer Control System?

Answer 3.

The Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) requirement is applicable to the Wash System Controls. Refer to the updated Statement of Work section 5.4.5.

FROM: 5.4.5. Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) shall be installed for all equipment supplied. (Minimum 2-hour back-up).

TO: 5.4.5. Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) shall be installed for Wash System Controls. (Minimum 2-hour back-up).

See attached document: ATTACHMENT A - ADDENDUM FAR 52.212-4.
