About this file

This is a Solicitation/Contract/Order for Commercial Items (SF 1449) for hazardous waste removal and tote services at Riverside National Cemetery in California. The Department of Veterans Affairs National Cemetery Administration is seeking a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) to provide comprehensive hazardous waste management services, including semi-annual removal and replacement of waste storage containers, pump-out of wastewater, disposal of fluorescent tubes and paint, and related waste handling activities.

The contract is a firm-fixed-price procurement with a base year and four 12-month option years, running from February 2, 2026, to January 4, 2031. The solicitation (36C78626Q50039) is set aside 100% for SDVOSB firms under NAICS code 562112 with a $47 million size standard. Offers are due by January 22, 2026, at 1:00 PM PST, with award to the lowest-priced, technically acceptable offeror. Technical evaluation will assess the contractor's regulatory compliance plan, transporter authorization, waste handling procedures, and documentation processes. The estimated services include managing various waste streams such as oil, antifreeze, aerosol cans, oil filters, and fluorescent light tubes at the Riverside National Cemetery's maintenance facility.
