About this file

This document is an Amendment of Solicitation (Standard Form 30) for a contract with the National Cemetery Administration (VA) regarding maintenance and environmental service requirements. The amendment, numbered 0001 and dated 09/26/2025, includes questions and answers from potential vendors and details a site visit scheduled for 10/02/2025 at 10:00am in the Admin Building.

The solicitation involves specific environmental maintenance tasks, including: 1) removing 120 gallons of used oil from two 30-gallon drums located at the POL storage of the maintenance building (twice annually), cleaning cabinet catch basins, and 2) cleaning the sand interceptor of an oil/water separator twice per year. Vendor questions reveal additional details such as the anticipation of removing 1500 gallons (750 gallons twice per year) from a 1000-gallon tank. The contractor will be responsible for disposing of waste in accordance with Federal, State, and Local laws/requirements, with detailed guidelines provided for cleaning oil/water separators and sand interceptors.

(2 times per year) And clean the cabinet catch basin as required or needed. The catch bins (aka: spill containment pallets/bins) need to have any excess spillage removed and wiped clean when drums are emptied.

The following are basic guidelines for oil water separators and sand interceptor cleaning:
