Q1: I have a question regarding the 62” high panel height. A 66” high panel will provide more clearance between the worksurface and the bottom of the overhead cabinet so that a monitor and/or dual monitors can fit within in that area and that the user can work within the proper ergonomic posture. Is a 66” high panel acceptable?

A1: Provided this is referring to the height of the panel for WS1, then yes, that’s acceptable.

Q1: On the WS3, which is the long worksurface with the F6 and F7 mobile pedestals, how do you plan to support this worksurface? Do you want legs added or do we need to change the pedestals from mobile to fixed to support this worksurface?

A2: The worksurface is intended to be supported by the file cabinets. Per the scope of work, F6 & F7 are listed as pedestal file cabinets (page 2 of 15), not mobile file cabinets. On page 7 of 15, the description indicates that neither should have casters (i.e. fixed).

Q3: For the WS1 stations that are next to the WS2 reception stations, it appears that these 2 are longer than the other WS1 stations on the plan, but would you please confirm if these should still be 8'x8' stations, including the F3, or if they should be 8'x8' plus the dimensions on the F3. On the drawing below, it appears that maybe there is a panel behind each F3, but we are not sure if that is your desire.

A3: The intent is for WS1 to be 8’x 8’, including F3 (i.e. F3 under the 48” return).

Q4: Also, could you please confirm the size of the WS2 workstations? On the written specs, they call for 48" returns, but on the drawing below, they appear to be longer.

A4: WS2 dimensions are 16’ wide x 30” deep with 48” return (page 9 of 15). The intent is for the return side of WS2 & each adjoining WS1 to be the same, so that one does not have a longer panel than the other. The intent was for the drawings to show the notional layout for all the workstations, and for the scope to identify the specific dimensions.
