Contractor Questions in reference to solicitation 36C78620Q0042.

1. What is the due date for submission of proposals?

Answer: 9 Aug 2019

2. In the scope of work under trash and debris removal, the requirements state (a) once per week and (c) each workday. Is this requirement for once a week or daily?

Answer:

3. Under trash and debris removal – (e) is a street sweeper required for the walkways, roads, and parking areas or can a blower be used for this?

Answer:

4. We don’t see a sheet to fill out for past performance. Should we just list these on a document and turn them in?

Answer: The previously omitted Past Performance assessment document was sent out on 29 Aug 2019 to all potential offerors in Amendment 0001 to Solicitation 36C78620Q0042.

5. What are the required wage rates for each cemetery?

Answer: Each Cemetery fall under the same Wage Determination - No.: 2015-4265 -- Revision No.: 11 -- Date of Last Revision: 07/16/2019 - - that is, Maryland Counties of Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Baltimore City, Carroll , Harford, and Howard. See attached. (I’ll attach the WD Doc to Amendment 0003 for all potential vendors)

6. For snow removal page 8 (iv) says that an individual occurrence of snow removal begins when the contractor is notified by the COR to start snow removal operations. Can the cemetery give a maximum depth they will require for this service to begin? For example, will the cemetery alert the contractor when the depth reaches 3 inches, or will they wait until the depth reaches a much higher amount? Prices can vary depending on how much snow has fallen before we are notified to begin.

Answer: On business days, we would like the contractor to begin snow removal at 2 inches and/or when snow accumulation ceases (whichever is least).

Answer: On weekends and federal holidays, we would like the contractor to begin snow removal when snow accumulation ceases.

Answer: COR is authorized to make exceptions to either (in case there is a scheduled event, or a major snow event precludes waiting until snow ceases).
