Question: 9 - Staging excess topsoil During construction will there be anyplace nearby to store topsoil for a day or two in case we need it when refilling excavation after placing the beams? Any on base soil staging area for disposal?
There is a small area directly behind the sections for material and equipment storage. Temporary fencing panels obstructing view should be used around this area. There is no on-site disposal staging area onboard NAS Pensacola. (side note for us only, NAVFAC may be interested in the spoils as well as C&C who is doing our major expansion. That would be something for them to approach though and can’t be guaranteed.

Question: 10 - Lost Time for events at Cemetery There is often 2 or 3 funerals per day that last 30-60 minutes where we will have to stop working out of respect. Are we going to be able to get time back for any lost time during services?
Barrancas conducts no more than five services per day on the annex side. Services are scheduled hourly and last no longer than 30 minutes due to NAS Pensacola base security policies. Given the distance to the shelter, with proper planning and execution the impact should be minimal.
