Will there be any hazardous material abatement on this project? There are references made to sections 02 82 11 & 02 82 13 but these sections are not included in the specifications. If there will be abatement please provide locations, quantities, and the associated specification sections.
The maps we have do not show any hazardous materials in the project area. However, if during demolition potentially hazardous material is found, then it would be processed as an unforeseen site condition.

According to the manufacturer rep for Modine the basis of design model has been discontinued and there are no alternates models they offer. Further due to the custom nature and space limitations no other manufacturers we’ve tried can provide an equal to the design. Can a new basis of design be provided?
No new basis of design manufacturer will be provided. We’ve spoken with Trane, York and Havtech and all have confirmed that they offer units which match the specifications and design intent. The only “custom” option is the filters. There are multiple “or equal” manufacturers who can provide units.
