About this file

The provided document appears to be a set of questions related to the requirements for key personnel roles, specifically the Superintendent, Quality Control, and Site Safety Officer, on a federal construction contract opportunity.

The key details are:

The Statement of Work (SOW) allows for two of the three key personnel roles (Superintendent, Quality Control, Site Safety Officer) to be covered by the same person. However, there is a discrepancy, as the specification section 01 35 26 states the Superintendent, Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO), and Quality Control person may be represented by the same person. The contractor is seeking clarification on whether the Superintendent can "triple-hat" all three roles, or "double-hat" either the Quality Control or Site Safety Officer role.

Text version

1.What are the requirements for Superintendent, Quality Control, and Site Safety?
a. Can the superintendent triple-hat all three?
b. Can the superintendent double hat either Quality Control or Site Safety?

The SOW states two of the three can be covered by the same person (Super Intendent/SSHO) the Quality Control person is not addressed specifically. However, the spec does specify it to be separate but with the discrepancy I would make this statement.

Spec section 01 35 26 Safety Requirements, 1.9, B shall state Super Intendent, SSHO and Quality Control person may be represented by the same person.
