About this file

This document contains details for a two-phase design-build federal contract opportunity to renovate Building 223 for pandemic storage at the Minneapolis VA Health Care System in Minnesota. The solicitation will seek proposals to provide all design, labor, materials, tools, equipment, and construction services necessary for the project, which includes completely renovating the interior and exterior of the building and sectioning it into three storage areas - a semi-conditioned area for Facilities Engineering, a conditioned area for Logistics with pallet racking, and a sealed conditioned area for temperature and humidity sensitive supplies. The estimated $2-5 million contract has a 100% SDVOSB set-aside and is expected to have a solicitation date of February 12, 2021 and award date of June 30, 2021 under NAICS codes 236220. Responses will be evaluated in two phases, with up to four contractors selected from Phase I to submit proposals for Phase II.
