About this file
This document contains questions and answers related to two federal contract opportunities. The opportunities are for non-emergent ambulance and wheelchair van services issued by the William Jennings Bryan Dorn VA Medical Center. Key details include that hard copy proposals for both opportunities should be sent to Samuel Smith at 325 Folly Rd. Suite 300, Charleston, SC 29401 by the response date. The ambulance opportunity requires vehicles with no more than 35,000 miles and a model year of 2017 or newer due to past maintenance issues. Both opportunities are set-asides for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. Subcontracting is removed from the requirements. Performance standards for both will be in a Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan and any discrepancies will be communicated to vendors.
