The scope makes mention to approximate 25% of the ball valves needing replaced after determining they are bad. Will these be considered modifications? There is no info to valves sizes or locations.
The intent is not to have any change orders. See drawings provided where larger font isolation valves are the “most common ones used”. The other valves have likely not been used in many years.
Most of the isolation valves leak and require the valve closed two floors down with a fixture flowing water one floor down.
A minimum of 72 isolation valves shall be considered for replacement. This is based on estimated 290 valves involved by this project.
Exiting valve size are between 1 and 2 inch. The valves will be replaced with ball valves.

Will conduit be required for the low voltage cable from the flow meters to the equipment? Will this be in the electrical scope?
Sensor (water meter) data cables supporting 24v or similar will not need conduit and will need to be securely attached to other plumbing etc. in a neat organized manner. See spec “260519 Low-Voltage Electrical Power Conductors and Cables” for 110-volt equipment.
