About this file

This is an Amendment of Solicitation/Modification of Contract (Standard Form 30) issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 21, for the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System located in North Las Vegas, Nevada.

The amendment addresses a previously missed question and answer regarding Solicitation 36C26126Q1125, which concerns leased digital displays and related hardware. The contracting officer clarifies that pricing for these items does not need to be spread evenly across the base year and four option years. Offerors may propose different unit prices for the base year and each individual option year, including higher base-year pricing to account for upfront hardware costs, provided each Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) is separately priced and the overall pricing is fair and reasonable. Pricing evaluation will be based on the total contract value, calculated as the sum of all CLINs covering the base period plus all option years combined. No pricing method will be evaluated more favorably than another for award purposes. The amendment is effective August 17, 2026, with an extended offer receipt date of September 3, 2026. Offerors must acknowledge receipt of this amendment by one of the specified methods prior to the closing date and time.

The purpose of this amendment is to provide an answer to a question that was previously missed prior to issuing the previous amendment.

Q. Regarding Solicitation 36C26126Q1125, please confirm whether the pricing associated with the leased digital displays and related hardware must be spread evenly across the base year and four option years.

Alternatively, may an offeror propose different unit prices for the base year and each option year—including higher base-year pricing to account for upfront hardware costs—provided that each CLIN is separately priced and the overall pricing is fair and reasonable?

Lastly, if pricing can be different for the base v option years, will one method or the other be evaluated more favorably for award?

A. Pricing does not have to be spread evenly across the base year and four option years.

Offeror can propose different unit prices for the base year and each option year. Pricing evaluation will be an evaluation of the total contract value, which will be the total of all CLINS, base plus all option years combined.
