About this file
This Statement of Work details architecture and engineering services required for generator security upgrades at the Alaska VA Healthcare System outpatient clinic in Anchorage. The project involves relocating a fuel storage tank with minimum 25ft standoff distance from the service drive, constructing a blast barrier around the relocated tank, and reconfiguring the backup generator's exterior radiator to prevent snow collection.
The 164-day project requires deliverables at 35%, 65%, 95%, and 100% completion stages, with submissions including drawings, specifications, cost estimates, construction schedules, and submittal registers. Construction is estimated at $695,000. The contractor must provide construction period services including shop drawing review, RFI responses, site inspections, and as-built documentation. The project follows VA design specifications and requires expertise in multiple disciplines including architecture, civil engineering, electrical engineering, physical security, and cost estimation. Design work will be followed by construction phase services including submittal reviews, site inspections, and creation of as-built drawings within 30 days of construction completion.
