GE Installation Information
Below are the three main check-offs the GE service support team will complete when they come on-site for planning purposes. The injector is Cableless, but the ceiling mount requires a plate plus electrical/power.
• Ensure the power supply meets local regulations, is accessible during the Technical Safety Check and is a maximum of 1m from the ceiling fixation. Furthermore the following specifications must be taken into account: ˙ o voltage range: 90 - 240 VAC ˙ o frequency: 50/60 Hz ˙ o input current: 6.35 A (at 90 VAC full load) ˙ o fuse characteristic: delayed-action fuse
• A grounding conductor with the following properties is to be connected with the equipotential bonding cable of the CT scanner: ˙ o cable cross-section: at least 2.5 mm2 o flexible o provided with cable lug (ring or spade lug for M4 bolts)
• the equipotential bonding cable of the CT scanner is connected to the interface plate or to the ceiling plate if a suspended ceiling set is needed to be installed.
For room planning electrical we need 110 power within 1 meter of plate for overhead to power CT Motion.
The cable length from power supply to electrical outlet is 3 meter in length so some cable may need to be hidden.
Cables go up inside arm so not exposed as you can see in image below
No conduit from overhead to control room as blue tooth.
Power supply to be mounted just below flange of overhead under cover either vertical or horizontal.
