ATTACHMENT 1 - RFP 36C26024R0014 0001 Q & A
1. Specification section 01 00 00, 1.31 Project Management Software, B. Please confirm a project management software will be required for this project.
a. A scheduling/project management software will be required to create and maintain project schedules; however, RFIs and submittals can be submitted without use of a project management software.
2. Will temporary chain link fence panels be able to be used as the temporary traffic and pedestrian barriers at each location of work? Plastic and other means would still be utilized for dust/debris control during grinding, fireproofing, etc.
a. Yes, chain link fence panels will be fine. Any temporary barrier should be in good condition without sharp edges exposed.
3. The work at the upper portions of the West Pedestrian Bridge and the Central Pedestrian Bridge (areas with tile work) will not be able to be completed in one shift or made safe for pedestrian travel during the regular working hours in between shifts. Will the contractor be able to block these areas off with security fence panels (outside) and cones/tape/plastic/signage (inside) for the duration of the work at these areas?
a. Yes.
4. Is there a laydown area that we can utilize for construction barriers, tools, etc. in between shifts of work?
a. Yes, this can be coordinated with the COR by reserving several parking spaces or reserving another space nearby the area of work.
