This is a transportation data spreadsheet documenting non-emergency wheelchair transportation services provided by the Dallas VA Medical Center from April 1, 2025 through March 31, 2026. The dataset contains 70,103 total trips across two fiscal years (46,629 trips in 2025 and 23,474 trips in 2026), distributed across multiple VA facilities and community-based outpatient clinics in the North Texas region.

The spreadsheet provides granular operational metrics including pickup and drop-off locations by facility and zip code, temporal patterns (peak usage during 10-11 AM hours with 13,668 combined trips), geographic distribution across 52 counties in Texas and Oklahoma, pickup patterns by day of week (Tuesday-Thursday-Saturday being the most frequent recurrence pattern with 8,356 trips), and estimated travel distances ranging from 0.16 miles to 1,570.79 miles. Additional metrics show companion counts by month, patient mobility types (primarily oxygen users at 27,654 instances, followed by ambulatory patients at 2,922), and accessibility requirements including walker and scooter usage. Dallas County and Tarrant County represent the highest volume service areas with 24,046 and 7,368 pickup trips respectively, while the Dallas VA Medical Center main facility at 4500 S Lancaster generates 40,938 drop-off trips. This data directly supports the solicitation for contractor proposals to provide ongoing 24/7 wheelchair transportation services under contract 36C25726R0014.
