About this file

This document is an Amendment to Solicitation for HVAC Maintenance services for the Department of Veterans Affairs at the Garland and Bonham VA facilities (Solicitation Number 36C25726Q0019). The amendment extends the quote submission deadline to October 16, 2025 at 12:00 PM CT and includes a comprehensive set of questions and answers addressing technical and administrative aspects of the contract.

Key details include requirements for a full-time project coordinator who must provide onsite management, emergency repair response times (one hour by phone, four hours onsite), and maintenance specifications for HVAC systems. The contract covers semi-annual and annual maintenance tasks for various RTUs and split systems, with specific guidelines on filter specifications (MERV 6), belt replacements, and coil cleanings. Contractors will need NATE or equivalent certifications, provide their own replacement parts, and have access to mechanical rooms. The solicitation indicates tax exemption will be provided upon contract award, badging is required, and site-specific details like parking and restroom access will be determined after contract award.
