About this file
This is a civil site demolition plan (drawing CD-100) for a VA construction project to replace boilers and boiler plant at 1901 Veterans Memorial Drive in Temple, Texas. The drawing shows detailed demolition specifications for an area around Teague Place and adjacent roads.
The plan includes specific demolition notes requiring contractors to verify utilities, maintain temporary storm drainage, dispose of materials at approved landfills, and submit both a Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) and traffic control plan for approval. Key demolition elements include removal of existing roads, curbing, trees (with complete root system removal), and pavement materials. The drawing indicates areas where trees must be preserved with root systems protected. The project is being managed by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Construction and Facilities Management, with Cox Design Associates as the Architect of Record. The drawing is dated September 23, 2022 and marked as "Phase IV 95% Construction Documents."
