This RFI (Request for Information) document contains responses to 22 detailed questions about a water leak repair project at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, Texas. The project involves repairing a water leak in the main computer server room, with comprehensive scope including demolition, waterproofing, landscaping, fireproofing removal, and various construction and restoration tasks. The contractor must maintain salvaged landscaping, provide shop drawings for irrigation, and submit engineered scaffolding designs with PE-stamped documentation. The project requires adherence to JCAHO, NFPA, OSHA, and life safety standards, with construction to be performed without disrupting medical center operations. Offerors must be registered in VetCert, SAM, and meet specific certification requirements for the NAICS code 236220.
